Day twoTimetable: 08h00 Breakfast served on the guesthouse veranda.
09h00 Demonstrations of how to saddle and bridle a horse.
09h15 Horseback ride through the surrounding countryside, with beautiful views towards the Piñan lakes.
11h30 Arrival at a secluded and unoccupied farmhouse; a chance to rest and enjoy the view, followed by demonstration (and practice for those who wish) in the roping of cattle.
12h30 Lunch served at the farmhouse.
13h30 Demonstration and practice in woodcraft: how to cut a path through the forest, using a machete safely and efficiently; how to cut poles and erect a simple shelter.
14h30 Return on horseback to San Antonio, using a trail which gives excellent views of the Cotacachi-Cayapas cloud forest Reserve.
16h30 Refreshment, followed by a fun demonstration of how to transport loads of farm produce on horseback and a chance to practice your own technique!
17h30 A chance to rest and enjoy the grounds nearby the guesthouse, with supper served at 19h00. CostOur price for the two day packeage includes all meals, and provision of guides, horses and equipment.
